Website content is easier to understand if it is written in a plain, easy-to-read style.
Plain English principles also apply to layout and design.
Plain English can be applied to websites in terms of:
- Structure – logical order
- Key information – stands out clearly
- Headings – informative
- Layout – consistent and easy on the eye
- Words and grammar – unambiguous everyday usage

Nethy Bridge Community
Our first project in 1998. In 2006 this largely unchanged site won the area's 'Best Website' award. The site is updated by the community via simple web page-based system. Various features have been added over the years but even in 2010 the site continues to be a vital part of village life!
